▶ Optimal convergence-based education to make two majors compulsory
• International Relations is a convergence study based on an interdisciplinary approach.
- • Promote a convergence approach by recognizing liberal arts subjects related to adjacent disciplines such as history, philosophy, economics, business administration, and administration as a major search for the department of international relations
- • Upon completion of the East Asian International Relations major track, subjects related to East Asia (East Asian International Studies, Economics, History, Philosophy) are recognized as major courses.
- • Participation in international trade-related majors
- • Securing academic adjacency and convergence in various academic fields, double majors, double majors, and change of affiliation (related departments: Business Administration, Economics, Political Science and Diplomacy, Cultural Humanities, Department, Sociology, Media Public Relations, etc.)

▶ Problem-solving education
- • Cultivation of problem-solving skills in connection with the Global Citizenship Education Center, Living Lab Research Center, and Yonsei Unification Cluster operated by students and professors of the Department of International Relations
- • In order to utilize the characteristics of a university located in Wonju as an advantage, it is necessary to pay attention to the history of cooperatives, which are socio-economic assets of the Wonju region, and to strengthen the role of universities in seeking solutions to various current issues and problems.
- • A variety of local field-type activities are needed amid concerns about how international issues can be understood and applied in regions such as Wonju.
- • Operate community-oriented courses such as Living Lab and Social Innovation
- • Providing educational services on international issues to local elementary, middle and high school and general citizens through the Global Citizenship Education Center
▶ Mentoring training
- • After selecting a major in the current first year, an advisor is assigned to conduct an interview
- • Linkage with alumni mentors and dedicated advisors through the second year career design course
- • Connection of alumni mentors and maintenance of existing advisors for 3rd and 4th graders
- • Each advisor induces the division of roles by specialized fields for students' career paths such as higher education, public institutions, corporations (startup), foreign affairs and security, and overseas employment.
